I’m really bad at writing or talking. Especially about myself. I’m more of the listener. I enjoy learning about other people, but not sharing things about me. But this time, I guess i’ll try.
I’m Kat Wood. I’m eighteen years of age, from Oxford in England, and I currently do nothing with my time but volunteer work.
I was born in August ‘93, which as a child I loved, because it meant I was never at school on my birthday, and it was always nice weather. But summer has never been my favourite time of year.
There are two different people inside me, and the one you see depends on what my mood is. Most of the time i’m pretty content with myself, and with that comes the rediculously nice and caring person that I am, and the one that everyone sees.
My music taste always seems to suprise some people. I’m a huge fan of bands that were around long before my birth. Bands like Queen, Pink Floyd, Yes, Guns and Roses, Fleetwood Mac and Led Zepplin, bands that my parents raised me with. When it comes to modern music, i’m not fussy. I like abit of everything.
Bon Iver is my favourite band, and has been for a while now. I don’t know what it is about their music, but it just instantly makes me feel happy, and good about myself.
I’ve always been a pretty quite person. When i’m alone, I spend alot of my time reading and watching films. But when i’m out with friends, i’m a little on the crazy side.
The one thing i’m set on to do in my life is travel. For years now, i’ve wanted to travel around Australia. The main reason being, I have a whole side of my family live there, whom i’ve never met. And it’s also a beautiful country. I would also really love to learn Japanese, and spend a few months there as well. And visit Sweden.
My dream job isn’t anything fancy and I wouldn’t get paid alot wither, but it’s exciting. I would love to join the Royal Air Force, and work as a Photographer. And at the moment, that’s what i’m working towards doing.
